Network Support

In addition to my design and programming experience I've had a number of years doing tech. support kind of work. This includes keeping a medium sized business up and running, administering a school computer lab, maintaining a hardware firewall and corporate anti-virus software.

Along with just keeping the network up and running I have lots of experience dealing with problems like:

  • I forgot my password, can you help?
  • I can't connect to the internet.
  • Our printer won't print.
  • My computer is making a funny noise.
  • My computer smelled like it was burning, and now it won't turn on.
  • How do I share my files?
  • Our hard drive crashed.
  • I think I have a virus.
  • Why is my computer running so slow?
  • How do we connect our office computers?
